So Choir! Leeds is THE fun, casual, social singing meetup. No experience needed, no auditions, no awkwardness, no worries. Even if you feel you can’t sing or don’t like the sound of your own voice (who does?!) you’re TOTALLY welcome!
So Choir! Leeds is the SOcial Choir (see what we did there?). We’re all about awesome people who love to get together each week to hang out and sing great songs together, with a side order of live music. Add your voice to the mix and get ready to be blown away by the sound of sweet harmonies sending shivers down your spine!
The Adelphi Pub | So Choir! Leeds venue
So Choir meetups in Leeds take place on Wednesday evenings at The Adelphi Pub. Combining the best in British pub hospitality with individuality, character and quirky charm, The Adelphi, Tetley’s original flagship pub, is located just over the bridge from Leeds city centre. In close proximity to the city centre and public transport links, The Adelphi Pub is a real gem amongst Leeds’ many watering holes.
It’s just a 5 minute walk from Leeds city centre, 7 minute walk from Leeds train station and is easy to drive to with plenty of parking around.
Wednesday evenings, see us take over the amazing upstairs area at the pub for So Choir! Leeds events. Grab a drink from the bar and head on up!
What time is So Choir! Leeds?
Singing starts around 8.00pm and finishes around 9.30pm – but as with all our events, people tend to head down a bit earlier for drinks and chats!
Parking
Parking is plentiful – nearby car parks are Meadow Lane & Hunslet Lane. There is also plenty of FREE on-street parking (free after 6pm) on Sheaf St, Hunslet Rd and Cudbear St. Same for Bowman Lane which becomes Waterloo St. Other parking options nearby too, have a look here: https://bit.ly/2x5aFAo
There are always other friendly people to walk with if you’re new to the area or it’s your first time. Just message us beforehand or give us a heads-up on the night and we can point you in the right direction.
By Train & Bus
The Adelphi is just a 7 minute walk or 3-4 minute cycle or cab ride from Leeds Station. The roads surrounding The Adelphi are also served by numerous Leeds bus services.
